The Social Contract is away so that humans can live a better life and get out of an uncertain natural state, although there are differences opinion between Thomas Hobbes John Locke regarding how the social contract should be implemented, both agree way to peace in which state will guarantee justice welfare people. However, have different views on what ideal look like. wanted absolute power separation powers (Trias Politica).
